Privacy Policy

“UIFA Expo” is the name and brand of the online exhibition, and the organizer of this exhibition is “AUTOIN Inc.” 

 

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains the way of treatment of the information which is provided or collected in the websites on which this Policy is posted. In addition the Policy also explains the information which is provided or collected in the course of using the applications of AUTOIN which exist in the websites or platforms of other company.

Through this Policy, AUTOIN regards personal information of the users as important and inform them of the purpose and method of AUTOIN's using the personal information provided by the users and the measures taken by AUTOIN for protection of those personal information.

This Policy will be effective on the 1st day of Feb, 2021 and, in case of modification thereof, AUTOIN will make public notice of it through posting it on the bulletin board of AUTOIN 's website or individual notice through sending mails, fax or e-mails). 

 

1. Information to be collected and method of collection

(1) Personal information items to be collected

Personal information items to be collected by the AUTOIN are as follows:

• Information provided by the users

“AUTOIN ” may collect the information directly provided by the users.

- Required personal information items : ID, email, name, password, confirmed password, nationality, company name, company position, contact(office/mobile number), product and service area, industry area. 

- Optional personal information items : Company registration number

• Information collected while the users use services

Besides of information directly provided by the users, AUTOIN may collect information in the course that the users use the service provided by the AUTOIN .

- Access IP information, cookies, service using record, access log, etc

(2) Method of collection

The AUTOIN collects the information of users in a way of the followings:

- Website sign up page, written form, fax, telephone calling, e-mailing, online registration program, tools for collection of created information.

- Provided by partner companies

 

2. Use of collected information

AUTOIN uses the collected information of users for the following purposes:

• Member management and identification

• To detect and deter unauthorized or fraudulent use of or abuse of the Service 

• Performance of contract and service fee settlement regarding provision of services demanded by the users.

• Improvement of existing services and development of new services

• Making notice of function of UIFA Expo site or matters on policy change

• To help you connect with other users you already know and, with your permission, allow other users to connect with you 

• To make statistics on member’s service usage, to provide services and place advertisements based on statistical characteristics

• To provide information on promotional events as well as opportunity to participate 

• To comply with applicable laws or legal obligation 

• Use of information with prior consent of the users (for example, utilization of marketing advertisement) 

 

For the purpose of confirming the intention to sign up as a member, identification/authentication according to the provision of membership services, maintenance and management of member qualifications, identification according to enforcement of the limited identification system, prevention of illegal use of services, various notices and notifications, and record preservation for dispute resolution We process personal information.

AUTOIN agrees that it will obtain consent from the users, if AUTOIN desires to use

the information other than those expressly stated in this Policy.

 

3. Period for retention and use of personal information

In principle, the Company destructs personal information of users without delay when: the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved; the legal or management needs are satisfied; or users request: Provided that, if it is required to retain the information by relevant laws and regulations, the Company will retain member information for certain period as designated by relevant laws and regulations. The information to be retained as required by relevant laws and regulations are as follows: 

 

∘ Record regarding contract or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)

∘ Record on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)

∘ Record on consumer complaint or dispute treatment: 3 years (The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)

∘ Record on collection/process, and use of credit information: 3 years (The Act on Use and Protection of Credit Information)

∘ Record on sign/advertisement: 6 months(The Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce) 

∘ Log record of users such as internet/data detecting the place of user connection: 3 months(The Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

∘ Other data for checking communication facts: 12 months (The Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

 

4. Procedure and method of destruction of personal information

In principle, the Company destructs the information immediately after the purposes of its collection and use have been achieved without delay: Provided that, if any information is to be retained as required by relevant laws and regulations, the Company retain it for the period as required by those laws and regulations before destruction and, in such event, the personal information which is stored and managed separately will never be used for other purposes. The Company destructs: hard copies of personal information by shredding with a pulverize or

incinerating it; and delete personal information stored in the form of electric file by using technological method making that information not restored. 

 

5. Sharing collected information

Except for the following cases, AUTOIN will not share personal information with a 3rd

party:

• when the AUTOIN shares the information with its affiliates, partners and service providers;

- When the AUTOIN’s affiliates, partners and service providers carry out services such as bill payment execution of orders products delivery and dispute resolution (including disputes on payment and delivery) for and on behalf of AUTOIN.

• when the users consent the sharing in advance;

- When the users selects to be provided by the information of products and services of certain companies by sharing his or her personal information with those companies 

- When the user selects to allow his or her personal information to be shared with the sites or platform of other companies such as social networking sites. 

• when the sharing is required by the laws

- if required to be disclosed by the laws and regulations; or

- if required to be disclosed by the investigative agencies for detecting crimes in

accordance with the procedure and method as prescribed in the laws and regulations

 

 

 

6. Users' right to access and option

The users or their legal representatives, as main agents of the information, may exercise the following options regarding the collection, use and sharing of personal information by AUTOIN:

• exercise right to access to personal information;

• make corrections or deletion;

• make temporary suspension of treatment of personal information; or

• request the withdrawal of their consent provided before

If, in order to exercise the above options, you, as an user, use the menu of 'amendment of member information of webpage or contact AUTOIN by using representative telephone or sending a document or e-mails, or using telephone to the responsible department (or person in charge of management of personal information), AUTOIN will take measures without delay: Provided that the Company may reject the request of you only to the extent that there exists either proper cause as prescribed in the laws or equivalent cause.

 

7. Commission for collected personal information

For carrying out services, the Company commissions external professional companies(subcontractors) to process personal information as follows. This commissioned works for processing personal information is carried out by each subcontractor and service only if necessary for providing that service.

In commissioning process of personal information, in order to secure safety of personal information, the Company supervises and ensure to expressly state in the agreement with subcontractors so that those subcontractors will safely process personal information by strictly complying with directions regarding personal information protection, keeping personal information secret, not disclosing it to a 3rd party and being liable for accidents and returning or destructing personal information upon termination of the commission or process.

9. Technical, managerial and physical measures for protection of personal information

In order to prevent the loss, theft, leakage, alteration or damage of personal information of the users, AUTOIN takes technical, managerial and physical measures for securing safety as follows:

 

(1) Technical measures

∘ Utilize security servers for transmitting encryption of personal information

∘ Take measures of encryption for confidential information

∘ Install and operate access control devices and equipment

∘ Establish and execute internal management plan

 

(2) Managerial measures

∘ Appoint a staff responsible for protecting personal information 

∘ Provide education and training for staffs treating personal information

∘ Establish and execute internal management plan

∘ Establish rules for writing passwords which is hard to be estimated

∘ Ensure safe storage of record of access to personal information processing

system

∘ Classify the level of authority to access to personal information processing

system

 

(3) Physical measures

∘ Establish and operate the procedure for access control for the facilities for

storing personal information

∘ Store documents and backing storage containing personal information in safe

places which have locking device

11. Change in the Privacy Policy

(1) This Privacy Policy will apply from Jan 1, 2021.

“UIFA Expo” is the name and brand of the online exhibition, and the organizer of this exhibition is “AUTOIN Inc.(the “AUTOIN”)“

 

Chapter 1 General Provision

Article 1 (Purpose) 

The Purpose of this Terms of Use is to prescribe the matters released to the condition of use and the procedure of the services provided by “UIFA Expo”website(www.uifaexpo.com) operated by AUTOIN.

 

Article 2 (Definition) 

The definitions of the terms used in these Terms of Use are as follows : 

1. “UIFA Expo website” means www.uifaexpo.com that managed by AUTOIN. It include in Korea, English and Mobile version. 

2. “Exhibition” means UIFA Expo. 

3. “Host” means ‘unknown’ who host the “exhibition” 

4. “Organizer” means ‘AUTOIN’ who organizes the “exhibition”

5. “Member” means any person given a user ID.

 

Article 3 (Notification and Revision) 

1. These terms and conditions become effective when the ‘Organizer' posts the contents 

through the' UIFA Expo' website and the member agrees to it.

2. 'If necessary, the organizer may set and notify the matters to be applied for a specific service (hereinafter referred to as “individual terms”). If there are separate terms and conditions for specific services in relation to the use of these services, the effect of those terms and conditions will take precedence over these terms and conditions.

3. The ‘Organizer' may revise these Terms and Conditions within a reasonable range that does not violate relevant laws and regulations, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. And the revised contents will be announced on the initial page of the website from 7 days before the effective date to the day before the effective date. If the contents of the terms and conditions are changed unfavorably to the members, the contents before and after the revision should be clearly compared and notified so that the members can easily understand with a preliminary grace period of 15 days or more.

4. The revised terms and conditions according to Paragraph 2 of this Article are notified to the members in a manner such as website notice, and they take effect from the date specified in the supplementary provisions of the terms and conditions. If the member does not agree to the changed terms and conditions, the member may cancel membership registration (or withdraw from membership) at any time upon application, and if the member continues to use the service without expressing his intention to refuse within 7 days from the effective date of the changed terms and conditions it is considered as consent to the change.

5. Agreeing to these terms and conditions means that you agree to regularly visit the UIFA Expo website to check changes of the terms and conditions, and the 'Organizer' does not take any responsibility of the damage to users caused by not knowing the information on the changed terms and conditions despite the notice according to Paragraph 4.

6. If the terms and conditions are revised, the revised terms and conditions are applied only to contracts concluded after the effective date, and the terms and conditions before the amendment are applied to contract already concluded before that date. However, the scope of application in the individual terms and conditions may be determined differently.

 

Chapter 2 Service Agreement 

Article 4 (Constitution of Service Agreement) 

The service agreement(“Service Agreement”) shall be concluded who AUTOIN approves the user’s application for use, and the user agrees to the Terms. 

 

Article 5 (Application for Use) 

Users can fill out AUTOIN’s prescribed membership registration form online to apply for the use of the Service. 

 

Article 6 (Approval of Application for Use) 

1. If a user makes an application by accurately entering the required information, AUTOIN will approve the application for use.

2. AUTOIN may not approve the application for use in any of the following cases : 

- Entering false information for the application;

- Using someone else’s identity for the application’ or, 

- If other application requirements are incomplete or inadequate.

 

Article 7 (Changes to Service Agreement)

If the registration information changes, members may request online for AUTOIN to edit their information.

 

Article 8 (Assignment and management of member ID)

1. In principle, members use one ID.

2. The member who owns the member ID is responsible for all management of the member ID and password. The 'Organizer' shall not take responsibility for any loss or damage caused by the leakage, transfer, rental, and other negligence of management of ID and password not caused by the ‘Organizer'.

3. For the safe management of member ID and password, members must take the following measures. All responsibility arising from neglect of these measures lies with the member himself. 

- If a member recognizes that the member ID or password has been stolen or is being used by a third party, he/she must immediately notify the ‘Organizer' and follow the instructions from the ‘Organizer'. 

- Members must check the log out status after completing service use. 

- Members shall not let others know or use their member ID and password without justifiable reason.

4. Exhibitor members must thoroughly manage their member ID to prevent leakage and change of important company information in advance. The 'Organizer' is not responsible for any damages to the company due to the negligence of the employee and member ID management of the exhibitor member.

5. Member ID cannot be shared or transferred. If a member shares or transfers a member ID without prior consultation with the ‘Organizer', the ‘Organizer' may stop the use of the member ID.

 

Chapter 3 Obligations of Contracting Parties

Article 9 (Obligation of AUTOIN) 

AUTOIN strives to protect user’s personal information, including their registration information, as provided under the relevant statues. The user’s personal information is protected through AUTOIN’s compliance with the applicable laws and its Privacy Policy. However, AUTOIN may disclose personal information if there is an investigation request for offenses, a request made under a statutory procedure prescribed by related statures, or a request from a state agency under the related laws, such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications. 

 

Article 10 Obligations of Members

1. Members shall not commit any the following actions in using the Service : 

- Using other member ID illegally ;

- Reproducing, publishing, or providing the information they obtained from the Service to a third party;

- Infringing rights of AUTOIN or third party, including copyrights;

- Distributing contents violating public order and good morals;

- Committing an act that is objectively judged to e associated with crime; 

- Committing an act violating the applicable laws. 

2. Members shall not make commercial sales using the Service, and AUTOIN shall not be accountable for the consequence of the members’ use of the Service for sales purposes. 

3. Members shall not transfer or give their rights to use the Service or position to someone else, nor provide them as collateral. 

 

Chapter 4 Use of Service

Article 11 (Managing and Deleting Member’s Post) 

AUTOIN may limit the storage memory, message size, and storage period to operate the Service efficiently. AUTOIN may delete any content falling under any of the following subparagraphs without prior notice : 

- Slandering or undermining the honor of other members or a third party;

- Disturbing society’s public order or fine custom;

- Contents that are judged to be associated with crime;

- Violating the copyright or other rights of AUTOIN or a third party;

- Posting obscene materials on their community or Bulletin Board, or sharing links to obscene sites;

- Committing an act violating the applicable laws.

 

Article 12 (Service Hours)

In principle, the Service is available 24/7 as long as there are no operational or technical difficulties. The Service, however, may be unavailable when there are periodical inspections or other issues.

 

Article 13 (Service Content)

4. The contents of the Service provided to the Members are determined and subject to change under AUTOIN’s policy. 

 

Chapter 5 Termination of Agreement and Restriction of Use 

Article 14 (Termination of Agreement and Restriction of Use) 

1. If a Member wishes to terminate the Service Agreement, he/she must apply for the termination online, and AUTOIN must take appropriate measures after confirming the Member’s identity. 

2. If a Member commits any of the following acts, AUTOIN reserves the right to terminate the Service Agreement or discontinue the Service without prior notice. 

- Stealing other Service without prior notice;

- Intentionally interrupting the Service operation;

- Providing false information in the user membership application;

- Subscribing to the Service using two different IDs;

- Distributing contents that hinder society’s public order and fine custom;

- Libeling or committing acts detrimental to others;

- Transferring large amounts of information or advertising materials to disrupt the stable Service operation;

- Distributing a virus program that disrupts the IT facilities’ operation or destroys data;

- Infringing intellectual property rights of AUTOIN, other members, or a third party;

- Illegally using other’s personal information, user ID, and password.

- Posting obscene materials or sharing links to obscene sites on the Member’s own website or Bulletin Board;

- Any act violating the applicable laws.

 

Chapter 6 Disclaimer 

Article 15 (Exemption)

1. 'Organizer' is not responsible for the information and data obtained by the member using the service.

2. 'Organizer' is not responsible for any other contents such as the reliability and accuracy of the information, data, facts, etc. posted by the member on the service.

3.  We are not responsible for any damages arising from the member's failure to obtain the expected profits from the ‘Organizer' website or the selection or use of service materials.

4. 'Organizer' is not responsible for any mental or financial damage caused by other members while using the ‘Organizer' website.

5. The personal information included in the contents voluntarily and publicly posted by the member may be collected and used by others, and the ‘host' does not take any responsibility for this risk.

6. 'Organizer' has no representation and control authority over other sites that members visit through this site.

7. 'Organizer' shall not be held liable for any damages incurred to the member without the intention or gross negligence of the ‘host' in relation to the use of the services provided by the ‘host'.
